The game features a realistic medical system that affects the gameplay, where characters with wounded legs will limp or crawl and slow the party, and severe injuries can result in amputees that require robotic limb replacements. Players can craft new equipment and gear, purchase and upgrade their own buildings for use as safe havens or for starting up businesses, and aid or oppose various factions and characters in the world.
